The company also announced the TravelMate X2 14 and TravelMate X2 15, targeting SMB users looking for business-ready laptops with durability and security features.

Acer has expanded its business laptop portfolio with four new TravelMate devices aimed at enterprises and small and medium businesses (SMBs), as the company looks to strengthen its presence in the growing market for AI-enabled workplace computers.

Leading the new range is the TravelMate P6 14 AI, an ultra-lightweight Windows 11 Copilot+ laptop powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro technology. Acer said the device is designed for businesses seeking a combination of portability, security and AI-assisted productivity. Weighing less than 1kg, the laptop includes a 71Wh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 30 hours of battery life, alongside Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.

The TravelMate P6 14 AI also includes enterprise-focused security features, including Intel vPro protections, encryption tools, an optional chassis intrusion alert and a built-in webcam shutter. Acer has also added AI-powered videoconferencing tools, including camera enhancements and noise reduction features aimed at improving hybrid work experiences.

Alongside the flagship model, Acer introduced the TravelMate P2 Spin 14, a convertible 2-in-1 laptop designed for flexible working environments. Powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors, the device features a 360-degree hinge, touchscreen display and support for a Wacom stylus, allowing it to function as both a laptop and tablet. Acer said the model is intended to support professionals who regularly switch between note-taking, presentations and video meetings.

The company also announced the TravelMate X2 14 and TravelMate X2 15, targeting SMB users looking for business-ready laptops with durability and security features. The 15-inch version includes a dedicated numeric keypad for spreadsheet-heavy work, while the 14-inch model focuses on portability without sacrificing security and AI-powered tools. Both devices meet MIL-STD 810H durability standards and include options such as fingerprint readers and security alerts.

Acer’s latest launch highlights the fact that in the PC market, where manufacturers are increasingly integrating AI features into business devices as hybrid working, automation and productivity software have become more central to enterprise operations. Companies including Microsoft, Intel and other PC makers have been positioning AI-enabled laptops as the next phase of workplace computing, particularly as demand grows for devices capable of handling video collaboration, security and AI-assisted workflows locally.

The new TravelMate models will roll out in phases across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Australia from August through the end of year, depending on the device. Acer has not yet announced pricing details for the new range.
