JBL aims to simplify the installation process, allowing users to set up the speakers in just three steps within three to five minutes.
The Cove series can stream lossless and high-resolution audio through various services including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Roon, AirPlay 2, and Google Cast. The M1 speaker is compact, measuring 4.9 x 7.2 x 4.9 inches, and delivers a frequency response of 55 Hz to 20 kHz. It features three tweeters and one woofer, ensuring robust sound quality. The P1 speaker, slightly larger at 5.8 x 9.2 x 5.8 inches and weighing 7 pounds, includes an internal battery that offers up to 14 hours of power and is rated IP56 for water resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use.

The largest of the trio, the X1, measures 10.2 x 7 x 6.8 inches and provides a frequency response from 45 Hz to 20 kHz. While it does not initially support soundbar pairing, JBL is open to adding this feature based on customer feedback. The X1 is designed to deliver an immersive sound experience, allowing two units to be paired for enhanced audio performance.
The Cove speakers will be available for purchase starting September 13, 2026, with prices starting at $229.95 for the M1, $399.95 for the P1, and $449.95 for the X1. JBL continues to evolve its product line, seeking to integrate user-friendly technology with high-quality audio performance.
