Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Wednesday (June 3, 2026) paid tributes to former Chief Minister and DMK patriarch M. Karunanidhi on the late leader’s 103rd birth anniversary.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister recalled Karunanidhi’s contribution to Tamil literature, cinema, politics, administration, and State’s rights.
Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Publicity Rajmohan, along with senior officials including V. Rajaraman, Secretary, Tamil Development and Information Department, and A. Arun Thamburaj, Director of Information and Public Relations, paid floral tributes to the portrait of Karunanidhi placed beneath his statue on the Omandurar Government Estate premises in Chennai.
