The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will publish the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test answer key soon. THe provisional answer key will be issued for the first time following the Supreme Court's directive. Over 2.65 lakh who appeared for the medical college entrance examination are awaiting NEET PG answer key. Along with answer key PDF, NBEMS will also issue candidates' response sheet.
Once out, candidates will be able to access NEET PG 2026 answer keys, question ID numbers and their recorded responses through applicant login on the official NBEMS websites nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in
NBEMS conducted the NEET PG 2026 on August 30 in a single shift at 1,111 exam centres across 338 cities. Candidates had to answer 180 MCQs for 720 marks. Before 2026, candidates had to answer 200 questions.
Following the NEET PG 2026 marking scheme, four marks will be given for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. Therefore, candidates can calculate their estimated score by following this marking scheme while matching correct answers with provisional key.

Steps to check NEET PG answer key 2026
To check and download the NEET PG answer key 2026 PDF, candidates will have to follow these steps.
Visit the official website at nbe.edu.in
Under the “Entrance Exam” tab select “NEET PG”
Click on “Application Link” button available under the “NEET PG 2026” tab
Click on “Login” button and enter user ID and password
Click on answer key and provisional response sheet link
Question ID, along with the correct answer and marked responses, will be displayed
Go through the same and download it
NBEMS has not announced the date for NEET PG 2026 answer key release. However, the NEET PG results 2026 are scheduled to be declared by September 30.
Last year, the Supreme Court directed the NBEMS to publish the NEET PG raw scores, answer key issuance policy and normalisation method for result preparation. SC ordered 10 directives for NEET PG, which also included stricter penalties for seat blocking during the counselling process.
