JSW iCar V23 Price Expectations
The iCar V23-based SUV will join JSW’s lineup by early to mid-2027. With that, the mid-size SUV segment will feel more heat. JSW has already hinted that its model will be priced very competitively, and it is targeting the Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 30 lakh segment. And this could change everything.
The iCar V23 boasts a length of 4.2 m, which is shorter than most cars in the mid-size segment. Moreover, it will be an electric SUV. So, keeping in mind JSW’s approach, we can expect the iCar V23 to be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 26 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). At this price, it would undercut some of its rivals.

What Else?
We have already seen test mules of this SUV a few times. And it surely looks like a shorter G-Wagon. With that look, it will surely have a good road presence, a mix of ruggedness with class.
Globally, the SUV comes with a host of features, including a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, a digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera, and more. So, expect it to be a well-loaded car.
The SUV in China is sold with three battery pack options – 47.28 kWh, 59.93 kWh and an 81.76 kWh unit. These options are available in both RWD and AWD configurations. Expect the India-bound SUV to get the same options, along with the AWD configuration. So, it could make the game hectic for Sierra here.
Once launched, this new SUV is likely to compete with the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Sierra EV, Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella, Maruti eVitara, and more in its segment.
