The National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the NEET PG 2026-27 seat matrix for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programmes.
A total of 10,756 colleges have been listed for admission across India, with more than 50,000 postgraduate seats available.
Government institutions account for most of the PG seats, followed by private and deemed medical institutions.
Several branches including anaesthesia, ophthalmology, ENT, pathology, psychiatry, and respiratory medicine have shown an increase in the number of seats this year.
