A Yellow Warning has been issued for 14 districts on Wednesday. The districts under the warning are Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati.

Residents in these areas may experience thunderstorms and rain during the forecast period. The weather conditions are expected to be more noticeable in parts of northern and coastal Odisha.

Gusty Winds Up To 40 Kmph

Along with thunderstorms and rainfall, gusty winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 kmph are likely in the districts covered under the warning.

The combination of lightning, thunderstorms and strong winds may lead to temporary changes in local weather conditions. The forecast has therefore put the listed districts under a Yellow Warning for today.

Rain May Continue Tomorrow

The possibility of rainfall is not limited to today. The same districts may also receive rain on October 1, according to the forecast.
