Mahindra Auto has been following a tradition of celebrating India’s Independence Day by debuting new vehicles or new concepts that will dictate future products. For 2026, Mahindra seems to be prepping to debut new products too. One, is the BE 6 SPORTEQ variant which has been teased already.

But there could be another vehicle that will make its global debut in Mumbai, India. We’re talking about the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Truck which was first showcased as concept in 2023. The final production spec or close-to-production spec of Scorpio N Pickup has been spied, showing an all new and futuristic fascia ahead of its global debut. Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Prod Spec

Ahead of its global debut, Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup version has been spied testing on public roads. Unlike previous test mules which featured the same fascia as Scorpio N SUV, this new test mule shows the fascia of the production version for the very first time. This new fascia is a departure from what we saw in the 2026 update of Scorpio N SUV.

This pickup truck looks production ready too and we just wish it is priced as an extension of Scorpio N SUV and not a Hilux rival. For starters, we can see a much bolder grille which is also much larger than what we get with the SUV version. Headlights seems to be slimmed down and in line with what we saw with Global Pikup Concept. There seems to be C-shaped LED DRLs around headlights.

Vertical LED strip in concept makes way for vertically arranged fog light and cornering light, which lends a sporty aesthetic. A large Mahindra Twin Peaks logo lends a muscular and butch look. At the rear, we can see vertically oriented LED tail lights at either end and a high-mount stop light on the tailgate, which could be assisted, like in the Hilux.

What to expect?

Rear load bed looks large and could be similar in size and capacity to other mid-size pickup trucks in the world, including the recently launched Hilux. On the inside, we can expect Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup to feature the same interior as its just-updated SUV counterpart.

The updates include panoramic sunroof, 540-degree cameras, Level-2 ADAS, larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, driver drowsiness detection and more. Functions like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging pad, powered and ventilated seats could be part of the package.

The same powertrains as Mahindra Scorpio N SUV might be offered with Scorpio N Pickup truck as well. There is a probability of Mahindra just offering Diesel at first. This 2.2L Diesel engine has oodles of torque, rated at up to 173 bhp and up to 400 Nm, mated to either a 6MT or 6AT gearbox and then an option to choose their 4XPLOR 4WD system.
