An Israeli air attack on the town of az-Zawayda in central Gaza killed two Palestinians, Gaza’s Civil Defence rescue service said on Sunday.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa also reported a separate Israeli attack near the Maghazi refugee camp on Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza.
Since Israel’s genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza began in October 2023, Israeli forces have killed more than 73,400 Palestinians in the territory.

Israeli forces have killed at least three Palestinians, including a four-year-old child, and wounded several others in the central Gaza Strip.
An Israeli air attack on the town of az-Zawayda in central Gaza killed two Palestinians, Gaza’s Civil Defence rescue service said on Sunday.
One of the victims has been identified as four-year-old Muhammad Abdel Salam Taha.
“The two martyrs as well as several wounded were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah,” also in central Gaza, the Civil Defence told AFP news agency.
“There is no ceasefire, there is nothing,” said Abu Ahmed, a displaced Palestinian who was sheltering close to the building, which the air strike reduced to a pile of mangled steel and concrete.
“We want solutions; we want to live in peace,” he said.
Another Israeli strike is reported to have killed one person in Nuseirat refugee camp, also located in central Gaza, just northeast of Deir el-Balah.
The official Palestinian news agency Wafa also reported a separate Israeli attack near the Maghazi refugee camp on Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza.
Israel also conducted new drone strikes in Gaza’s southern city of Khan Younis, Al Jazeera’s Maram Humaid reported from Gaza City.
Seven people were wounded in the strikes were transferred to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis for treatment, according to health officials.
Several others were wounded by an Israeli quadcopter attack in al-Shujaiyya, east of Gaza City, among them 33-year-old journalist Ezz el-Din al-Batsh.

The wounded were transferred to al-Ahli Hospital, Humaid said.
The attacks came a day after an Israeli drone attack targeted the al-Hasanat family in the central city of Deir el-Balah, killing one person and wounding several others, Al Jazeera’s Ashraf Abu Amra reported from the city.
At least 1,286 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since the so-called “ceasefire” agreement took effect in October, according to Gaza’s Ministry of Health.
