An American Airlines flight from Baltimore to Miami witnessed a bizarre incident as a woman allegedly undressed herself completely and behaved indecently in front of other passengers during the journey, prompting police intervention.

Flight Continued Journey Despite Disturbance
The lead flight attendant informed the cockpit about the situation, following which the crew contacted the airline’s Integrated Operations Center through an Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) message.
The airline’s operations centre was asked to coordinate with law enforcement so officers could meet the aircraft after it landed in Miami. Despite the disruption, the crew decided against diverting the flight and continued towards its destination while authorities were alerted, Fox News reported.
When the aircraft arrived at Miami International Airport, law enforcement officers were reportedly waiting at the gate. The woman was taken into custody after the plane reached Gate D2 in Terminal N at around 11.23 pm local time.
Details about what led to the passenger’s conduct remain unclear. It is also not known whether she was charged, what action the cabin crew took during the flight or whether anyone was otherwise affected by the incident.
The episode was revealed through the aircraft’s ACARS communications, an operational messaging system used by airlines and flight crews. The flight took roughly two hours. The Airbus A319 involved in the incident can carry up to 160 passengers.
