The husband and in-laws of the woman, identified as Deepika, have been arrested.
A 24-year-old woman allegedly jumped to death from the terrace of her in-laws’ residence in Greater Noida on Sunday, police said.
A day later, scores of people thronged the house where her parents live.
According to her family, the deceased — identified as Deepika — was being harassed by her in-laws for dowry, police said, adding that her husband and father-in-law have been arrested.
While someone said: “They (in-laws) could have just dropped her at her parents’ house last night,” another murmured: “Why kill her?”Deepika, who hailed from Jalpura in Greater Noida, got married to Ritik a year and a half ago.

On Monday, dozens of women tried to console Deepika’s mother and elder sister. While someone said: “They (in-laws) could have just dropped her at her parents’ house last night,” another murmured: “Why kill her?”
Deepika, who hailed from Jalpura in Greater Noida, got married to Ritik a year and a half ago.
