Vaio's new T series is now available to order in Japan, just over a week after the company announced the laptops. We covered the initial announcement on September 10.
The T series uses Vaio's multi-flip mechanism, allowing the display to switch between notebook, tablet and view modes. The Vaio T has a 13.3-inch 16:10 WQXGA touchscreen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The recently updated Vaio SX14-R is also available with a 2560 x 1600 display, although it uses a larger 14-inch panel and a conventional clamshell design rather than a multi-flip mechanism.
