Here’s a look at some of the key World Heart Day campaigns launched this year.
Fortis Hospitals
Marking World Heart Day 2026, Fortis Hospitals, Bengaluru, has launched a Kannada heart-health awareness campaign titled “Don’t Miss a Beat – Attack the Attack,” aimed at encouraging people to take preventive steps, recognizing the warning signs of a heart attack and act without delay during a cardiac emergency. The campaign was officially launched by renowned singer, composer and producer Raghu Dixit, who is associated with the campaign’s musical identity. The launch brought together leading cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, senior hospital leadership, staff members, patients, and distinguished guests.
Heartnet India
Heartnet India, an IoT-based cardiac care platform, has launched “How Old Is Your Heart?” ahead of World Heart Day to encourage younger and working-age Indians to pay attention to their heart health before symptoms appear. Built around the question, “You know your age. But do you know your heart health?”, the campaign targets people in their 20s to 50s and emphasises the importance of maintaining heart health throughout life rather than waiting for symptoms to develop. As part of the initiative, Heartnet India is offering a ‘Free Heart Health Risk Check’, which assesses cardiovascular risk based on factors such as age, lifestyle and other heart-related risks.
Paras Health
Paras Health launched #APartOfYourHeart on World Heart Day to encourage people to view heart health as something that affects not just themselves but also their loved ones, relationships and future dreams. The campaign highlights the growing burden of cardiovascular ailments in India and the importance of prevention, regular check-ups and healthier everyday choices. To bring the message to life, Paras Health organised an interactive activation at the hospital featuring a large 3D jigsaw puzzle. Patients, visitors, attendants and staff were invited to complete the puzzle, symbolising how every person, relationship and aspiration forms an important part of the life we want to protect. The activation also encouraged participants to engage with the campaign and take selfies, creating a simple and relatable conversation around heart health.
Apollo Hospitals
Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai launched the CPR Pledge Movement with the aim of encouraging people to learn CPR and be prepared to respond during medical emergencies before professional help arrives. Conducted from July 8 to August 7, 2026, the initiative aimed to mobilise 50,000 people but received 61,221 pledges from more than 120 institutions, including schools, colleges, workplaces and community organisations. The month-long campaign culminated in GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ recognising Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai for ‘Most pledges received to learn CPR in one month’ at an event attended by Dr. Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, and actor Karisma Kapoor.
Citizens Specialty Hospitals
On the occasion of World Heart Day 2026, Citizens Specialty Hospitals, Nallagandla, is reinforcing its commitment to preventive cardiac health and emergency preparedness through its “Don’t Miss a Beat. Be an Informed Citizen” initiative. The initiative brings together extensive Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training and the introduction of E-Heart, Citizens, a WhatsApp community focused on connecting stakeholders with timely cardiac expertise.
PharmEasy
On the occasion of World Heart Day, PharmEasy, one of India’s leading healthcare platforms, has launched a CPR song as part of a week-long social media campaign developed in collaboration with Dr Jivitesh Satija, DM Cardiology, Interventional Cardiologist, to bring CPR awareness to life through a cardiologist-led song tutorial. Moving away from the conventional medical explainers, the campaign uses music, rhythm and simple demonstrations to make the fundamentals of CPR easier to understand and remember.

The initiative brings together gyms, fitness professionals, cardiologists, emergency medicine specialists, paediatric cardiac experts and fitness influencers to address an often overlooked aspect of fitness, being prepared to respond when a medical emergency occurs during training.
Aashirvaad Active Salt
Aashirvaad Active Salt has launched a World Heart Day campaign across Delhi using neighbourhood-specific hoardings to raise awareness about high blood pressure and sodium intake. The outdoor campaign uses localities such as Connaught Place and Kalkaji to create witty, location-based messages encouraging people to take better care of their heart health. The campaign also highlights the concern around elevated blood pressure in Delhi and positions reducing sodium intake as an important everyday step towards better heart health.
Universal Sompo General Insurance
On World Heart Day, Universal Sompo General Insurance highlighted a sustained rise in cardiac claims from non-metro locations over the past three financial years. Claims from Tier 2 cities have more than doubled during this period, while Tier 3 cities continue to account for a significant share of the insurer’s cardiac claims outside the metros.
