India’s passenger vehicle exports remained positive in July 2026, with total car exports reaching 69,931 units.
The top 30 models accounted for 66,728 units, representing more than 95% of overall car exports during the month.
Top 30 Car Exports July 2026 – Verna, Jimny, Fronx Top 3Hyundai Verna led the rankings with exports of 7,124 units, compared to 4,761 units in July last year.
This translates to 49.63% YoY growth, with Verna accounting for 10.68% of the top 30 exports.
However, total passenger car exports grew at a much slower 2.40% to 69,931 units.

The top 30 models accounted for 66,728 units, representing more than 95% of overall car exports during the month.
Domestic Vs Export Car Sales – July 2026
Total passenger car volumes, combining domestic sales and exports, stood at 4,65,130 units in July 2026, compared to 3,69,543 units in July 2025. This represents a strong 25.87% YoY growth, with volumes increasing by 95,587 units.
Domestic sales were the primary growth driver, rising 31.19% YoY from 3,01,251 units to 3,95,199 units. Domestic sales accounted for 84.97% of the combined volume during the month. Exports, meanwhile, increased at a much slower pace. A total of 69,931 cars were exported from India in July 2026, compared to 68,292 units a year ago, registering growth of 2.40% YoY. Exports accounted for 15.03% of the combined domestic and export volume.
Top 30 Car Exports July 2026 – Verna, Jimny, Fronx Top 3
Hyundai Verna led the rankings with exports of 7,124 units, compared to 4,761 units in July last year. This translates to 49.63% YoY growth, with Verna accounting for 10.68% of the top 30 exports. Maruti Jimny was second with 5,784 units. Exports declined by 15.12% from 6,814 units last year. Maruti Fronx took third position with 4,570 units, registering 9.17% YoY growth.
Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS was fourth with 4,554 units, up marginally by 1.63%. Hyundai Aura followed with 4,447 units, recording a healthier 22.64% increase. Maruti Dzire exports rose 34.81% to 3,919 units. Nissan Magnite delivered one of the stronger performances among the higher-volume models. Exports increased from 2,095 units to 3,537 units, representing 68.83% YoY growth. Maruti Swift was eighth with 3,001 units, down 12.99%.
Virtus, Ertiga Record Strong Growth
VW Virtus exports increased 59.76% to 2,890 units, while Maruti Ertiga posted 56.91% growth at 2,873 units. In contrast, Baleno exports fell sharply by 45.58% to 2,708 units. Maruti e Vitara recorded exports of 2,524 units. Toyota Hyryder exports declined 42.42% to 1,967 units, while Maruti Celerio was down 17.39% at 1,667 units.
Honda Elevate exports stood at 1,440 units, falling 36.34%. Hyundai Venue registered 1,328 units with 8.85% growth. Kia Carens more than doubled its exports to 1,327 units, up 101.98% YoY. Another relatively new export contributor was Maruti Victoris, with 1,253 units shipped during July.
Exter, i20 And Triber Post Big Gains
Hyundai Exter registered 1,243 exports compared to just 46 units last year, resulting in a sharp percentage increase. Hyundai i20 similarly improved from 258 units to 1,138 units. Renault Triber recorded 714 units versus just one unit in the comparable period, making its 71,300% percentage growth largely a result of the extremely low base last year. Mahindra XUV 3XO exports grew 15.15% to 707 units.

Renault Duster is another notable entrant, with 520 units exported during July 2026 against nil in July 2025. Meanwhile, Renault Kwid exports declined 48.36% to 473 units. Combined exports of the top 30 cars increased 12.53% YoY, from 59,300 units to 66,728 units. However, total passenger car exports grew at a much slower 2.40% to 69,931 units. This indicates that export volumes became more concentrated among the country’s 30 highest-volume models during July 2026.
