These star-studded films seek relief from the revenue-sharing model

A major development in the Telugu film industry has emerged as several big-budget films have reportedly sought exemption from the newly discussed percentage system agreed upon by exhibitors and producers. The list includes around 17 high-profile projects featuring some of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. Mega films like Vishwambhara, featuring Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna’s 111th film are also part of the list seeking relief. Other major films like Allu Arjun’s AA23 and RaaKa, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, NTR–Neel project, and several star collaborations complete the list. The move highlights ongoing negotiations in the industry as producers and exhibitors try to balance revenue models while protecting big-ticket releases.
