Another user also questioned the casting and wrote, “Hindus are so tolerable…on what ground this tiktoker is playing maa Sita role….FIR should be filed against everyone involved in this movie (sic)."
A third user wasn’t happy with the choice either, saying, “Kaha Mata Sitaji Aur Kaha Badam wali girl Anjali Arora I do not wish to accept Anjali Arora in the form of Mother Sita (sic)."
The film stars Dev Sharma as Lord Ram. He has previously appeared in films such as Yaariyan and Heropanti. For Arora, this will be her first theatrical film.
