Samsung has priced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra in India from Rs 1,49,999 and the Galaxy Tab S12+ from Rs 1,29,999.
The Ultra costs Rs 1,49,999 for the Wi-Fi model with 256GB and Rs 1,69,999 with 512GB.
The 5G Ultra costs Rs 1,64,999 with 256GB and Rs 1,84,999 with 512GB.
The Tab S12+ costs Rs 1,29,999 for the Wi-Fi model with 256GB and Rs 1,49,999 with 512GB.
The Pro Keyboard Cover costs Rs 27,999 for the Ultra and Rs 26,499 for the Tab S12+.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra in India from Rs 1,49,999 and the Galaxy Tab S12+ from Rs 1,29,999. Both tablets go on sale on October 7, the company said on Thursday.
Both models come in Wi-Fi and 5G versions with 12GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB or 512GB of storage. The Ultra costs Rs 1,49,999 for the Wi-Fi model with 256GB and Rs 1,69,999 with 512GB. The 5G Ultra costs Rs 1,64,999 with 256GB and Rs 1,84,999 with 512GB.
The Tab S12+ costs Rs 1,29,999 for the Wi-Fi model with 256GB and Rs 1,49,999 with 512GB. The 5G version costs Rs 1,44,999 with 256GB and Rs 1,64,999 with 512GB.
The Pro Keyboard Cover costs Rs 27,999 for the Ultra and Rs 26,499 for the Tab S12+. The tablets will be sold through Samsung Exclusive Stores, partner stores, Samsung.com and other online platforms, in Gray and Silver.
As launch offers, buyers who purchase a tablet together with a smartphone can save up to Rs 15,000, and accessories carry a 30 per cent discount.
Samsung is also extending its Galaxy Forever programme to Galaxy Tabs for the first time. The scheme offers an ownership model with a built-in upgrade option, protection benefits under Samsung Care+ and an assured buyback of 40 per cent.
The Ultra has a 14.6-inch display and the Tab S12+ a 12.6-inch display. Both are Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels with peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits, and a Vision Booster feature adjusts brightness in real time according to ambient light. In the Multi Window layout, users can divide the screen into three sections, for instance to take notes in Samsung Notes while streaming a lecture and using an AI assistant.
At 5.1mm, the Ultra is Samsung's thinnest Galaxy Tab to date, the company said. The Tab S12+ measures 5.3mm.
Both tablets run on a 3nm processor. Samsung said it offers 61 per cent faster NPU processing, 19 per cent faster CPU performance and 17 per cent better GPU performance than its predecessor.
The company rates battery life at up to 23 hours on the Ultra and 21 hours on the Plus. According to Samsung, a full charge from zero takes 95 minutes with a 45W adapter. A redesigned 3D Vapor Chamber handles heat dissipation during extended use.
The series carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and has four-channel spatial audio. Both models ship with an S Pen. The Pro Keyboard Cover includes a Galaxy AI Key that opens AI assistants directly.
The tablets run Android 17 with One UI 9 and include Galaxy AI features. Note Assist summarises notes in real time, and buyers get a six-month trial of Google AI Pro, which provides access to Gemini. The Samsung Browser can summarise open tabs and suggest relevant sources.
Adobe Photoshop comes pre-installed, with four months of free access to the Photoshop mobile plan. Goodnotes is free for a year, and the video-editing app LumaFusion is offered at a 66 per cent discount. The drawing app Clip Studio Paint comes with a six-month trial and 20 per cent off the first subscription. ArcSite, which converts sketches into CAD drawings, is also included.
Samsung said the Galaxy Tab S12 series will receive up to seven OS upgrades and security updates. Samsung Care+ covers accidental damage repairs and provides an extended warranty.
