Poco X8 Power and Poco X8 launched in India

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has launched two new smartphones under the X8 series: the Poco X8 and Poco X8 Power, catering to premium and mid premium buyers in India. Poco X8 Power supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Poco X8 Power uses Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. Poco X8 Power gets a 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, along with a 100W charger and 27W wired reverse charging support. The Poco X8 starts at ₹29,999, while the Poco X8 Power costs ₹35,999.

Both smartphones feature a 6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 2772 × 1280 resolution, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, 12-bit colour depth and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. They are protected by Corning Gorilla Victus 2 and bear IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings.

Poco X8 Power supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Both devices feature stereo dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio.

Poco X8 runs on Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Poco X8 Power uses Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. They operate on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, and will get 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches.

Poco X8 sports a 50 MP main camera with OIS, and a 2 MP depth camera. It has a 16 MP front camera. Poco X8 Power gets a 50 MP OIS main camera, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. It has a 32 MP front camera.

Poco X8 ships with a 9,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, supported by a 67W charger and 22.5W wired reverse charging support. Poco X8 Power gets a 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, along with a 100W charger and 27W wired reverse charging support.

The Poco X8 starts at ₹29,999, while the Poco X8 Power costs ₹35,999.
