Earlier this week, Samsung released the stable One UI 9 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 in South Korea. The company is now pushing the update to US units, starting with carrier-locked variants. The update should be widely available over the next few days and gradually expand to the rest of the world. The Galaxy S26 lineup has already picked up One UI 9 globally.
One UI 9 is Samsung’s Android 17-based software and introduces a number of new features and improvements. The update brings a more customizable Quick Panel, improvements to Samsung Notes and DeX, and customization upgrades. Samsung is also adding new Galaxy AI capabilities, including My FanCam, which can automatically keep a selected person centered while editing videos.
