When was the last time you saw a promotional asset of a big-ticket entertainer arrive ahead of its promised launch time? Well, the makers of NTR and Neel’s film have sprung a pleasant surprise by unveiling the video asset in advance, and it looks outstanding to say the least.

Putting an end to all the suspense, the makers have titled the film Dragon. The four-minute glimpse offers insight into the film”s world, key characters, their motives, and most importantly, delivers the fireworks.

Neel opted for a lengthy cut since his films generally involve multiple characters, which can be confusing at first glance. Hence, he cleverly changed the strategy this time around. Dragon traces its story back to British rule in India, where the British allegedly stayed back for the opium plant that produces heroin.

Afghanistan and the Golden Triangle are said to be two regions producing most of the world’s opium. The British not only left India but also left behind one of the most profitable businesses in the world, leading to the formation of two groups: The Afghan Trading Company and The Golden Trading Company.

Dragon is essentially about the fight between these groups to gain control of the opium trade and secure an advantageous position. NTR plays Lugen, the Assassin-in-Chief of the Afghan Trading Company.

The stunning frames, NTR’s dialogue delivery, Neel’s conviction in handling complex stories, top-notch production values, insane detailing, and slick editing, everything about the glimpse looks superb.

This promotional asset will only make NTR fans wait even longer, as the film is scheduled to release on June 11, 2027. Rukmini Vasanth, Anil Kapoor, Biju Menon, Khushbu Sundar, Guru Somasundaram, Rajeev Kanakala, and Ashutosh Rana play key roles. Ravi Basrur is the music composer.
