Honda Cars India launched the new City facelift earlier this week, with prices starting at Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated hatchback made its debut alongside the ZR-V, touted to be the new flagship offering from the brand in our country. Let us now take a closer look at their technical specifications.
The Honda ZR-V is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol hybrid (e:HEV) engine paired with an e-CVT gearbox. Tuned to develop a combined output of 181bhp and 315Nm. The Japanese carmaker has revealed an ARAI-certified mileage of up to 22.8kmpl. Pre-bookings for the model are now open, and the prices will be announced by July, which is also when deliveries are scheduled to commence.
Coming to the City, the Hyundai Verna rival is powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine paired with six-speed manual and CVT units, returning a claimed mileage of 17.77kmpl and 17.97kmpl for the manual and automatic versions, respectively. Also up for offer is the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine paired with the hybrid motor in the e:HEV guise, which is claimed to return a mileage of up to 27.26kmpl.
