New Galaxy Z Flip 8 leak reveals Exynos and Snapdragon market split

From the first-generation Galaxy Z Flip to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Samsung used Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets in all models of the lineup. That changed with the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which became the first device in the series to feature a non-Qualcomm processor. With the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Samsung is expected to revise its chipset strategy once again. Reports suggest the upcoming clamshell foldable will use either the Exynos 2600 or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, depending on the market. According to a report from Lanzuk on Naver Blog, Samsung will offer the Galaxy Z Flip 8 with an Exynos processor in its home market, South Korea, and a few European regions.
