The teaser doesn't reveal much, but it does hint at a familiar design with a few cosmetic updates. Maruti Suzuki could also use the facelift to introduce a few additional convenience features. The updated Brezza is expected to debut Maruti Suzuki's 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine, paired with either a five-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission. If this powertrain makes its way to the Brezza, it could help Maruti Suzuki price the SUV more competitively while also offering stronger performance against rivals in the compact SUV segment.

Likely to get a new turbo-petrol engine

Maruti Suzuki has taken the wraps off the first teaser of the 2026 Brezza facelift and opened bookings for the updated compact SUV. Customers can now book the model for a token amount of Rs. 11,000 through the brand's official website or at authorised Arena dealerships. The prices will be announced on 23 July.

The teaser doesn't reveal much, but it does hint at a familiar design with a few cosmetic updates. Expect the facelift to feature revised front and rear styling, a new set of alloy wheels, and subtle changes to freshen up the overall look without straying too far from the existing model.

The cabin is also likely to receive a mild makeover. A new interior theme, an updated infotainment system with a refreshed user interface, and a fully digital instrument cluster are expected to be part of the package. Maruti Suzuki could also use the facelift to introduce a few additional convenience features.

The most significant change is likely to be under the bonnet.

With bookings now underway and the launch just around the corner, the Brezza facelift will soon take on rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq and Kia Syros with a refreshed design and what could be a new turbo-petrol heart.
