Huge Argument Between Virat Kohli, Sai Sudharsan During IPL 2026 Final Goes Viral

A heated argument seemed to break between Virat Kohli and Sai Sudharsan during the IPL 2026 final in Ahmedabad. A video of the moment is going viral on the internet.

The IPL 2026 final was mostly a calm, professional affair from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who beat the Gujarat Titans (GT) by five wickets to lift a second consecutive title. However, there were a few moments where players from both sides let their emotions get the better of them.

Most of it was in the second innings, as RCB were chasing a sub-par 156. Soon after the powerplay, GT opener Sai Sudharsan was seen saying something to RCB opener Virat Kohli during the break between overs. It did not look friendly at all, and both players looked quite annoyed. Watch it here:

Before this, GT and former RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj had a few chats with Kohli’s opening partner, Venkatesh Iyer. It’s not uncommon for Siraj to try and fire himself up and get some emotion into the game when the odds are against his team but Sudharsan often comes across as a calmer, happy-go-lucky character.

But perhaps, the fact he had so much skin in the game as one of GT’s pillars in this successful season made him try something out of the ordinary.

‘We don’t poke any other team’: Kohli

Kohli won the Player of the Match for his 75 off 42 in the final. Speaking afterwards, he gave an insight into RCB’s strategy into deliberately not ‘poke’ any team in the wrong way and give every team the utmost request with their on-field as well as off-field interactions.

“The first target was to finish top of the table," Kohli said. “We achieved that. And then after that, it was just about… you know, a lot of people asked us, who do you prefer in the finals? And we said, it doesn’t matter for us. We don’t care what jersey is in front of us. We are playing great cricket. We want to focus on RCB and not the other teams. And we’re going to be respectful of all the other teams. We don’t poke any other team. We’re very happy to carry on playing professional cricket. We have a lot of mature players in the group, a lot of experienced guys, and the experience always shines through in difficult situations. You can have all the excitement and slam-bang in the world, but come the big situations, you need the big boys to step up. And that’s exactly what we did," he added.
