According to the weather office, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over West Bengal, Jharkhand, and the adjoining north Bay of Bengal during the afternoon of July 13 and 14. The system is expected to gradually intensify into a low-pressure area, resulting in widespread rainfall across Odisha.

For Saturday, a heavy rainfall alert has been issued for Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts. In addition, the weather department has issued a Yellow Warning for 13 districts, cautioning people about the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning.
