1. Bira 91 White
There was a stretch in 2024 when my friends and I ordered Bira 91 White almost every time we went out for drinks. Not long after, the beer seemed to disappear from shelves across the city. While we probably weren’t solely responsible for the shortage (pun intended), I’d like to think we played our part.
It’s easy to see why. Bira 91 White is one of the most universally appealing beers in India. Fruity, cloudy and remarkably easy to drink, this wheat beer clocks in at 4.7 per cent ABV and delivers plenty of flavour without overwhelming the palate. Whether you’re a seasoned beer drinker or just getting started, it’s hard to go wrong with this one.
