Five years later, Asta of Black Clover is finally yelling in English again.

The English dub of the anime's second season started streaming on Crunchyroll on Oct. 17, with new dubbed episodes arriving weekly from there.

That premiere closes a five-year wait for viewers who followed the original series' dub to its finish and have been asking about a return ever since.

Jason Lord directs the dub, with Ryan Negrón as assistant director. Dallas Reid is back as Asta, Micah Solusod as Yuno, and Jill Harris as Noelle Silva.

The rest of the returning booth is deep: Bryce Papenbrook as Liebe, Max Mittelman as Nacht, Patrick Seitz as Dante, and Colleen Clinkenbeard as Charlotte. Jad Saxton returns as Dorothy, T.J. Anthony as Albert, and J. Michael Tatum as Fuegoleon.

Tom Aglio is the notable new name, joining as Morgen Faust for Season 2.

The road here was a long one. Crunchyroll announced the season at Anime Expo in July 2025, then rolled out a trailer at Jump Festa '26 last December, and a second one carrying the new opening theme at Anime Expo this past July.

The Japanese broadcast beat the dub to air by two weeks, premiering on TV Tokyo and TXN affiliates on Oct. 3.

Season 2 is directed by Ayataka Tanemura at Studio Pierrot and adapts the Spade Kingdom Raid arc of Yūki Tabata's manga, sending the Magic Knights after the Dark Triad and into the Qliphoth Gate storyline. It is the penultimate arc of a manga that wrapped earlier this year after 11 years.
