Three youths have been arrested after a 13-year-old girl allegedly reported being gang raped inside an abandoned building in Faridabad in August.

A month after an alleged sexual assault, a 13-year-old girl in Faridabad told her family about the incident, leading to a police case and the arrest of three youths. Police said the girl was allegedly gang-raped inside a deserted building in the Greater Faridabad area.

The incident reportedly took place on August 24, when the girl had gone to meet a 16-year-old boy after attending her tuition classes. The two were allegedly confronted by a group of youths, who threatened them and took them to a nearby dilapidated building.

Police said the girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at the location.

Girl Told Family About Incident A Month Later

According to police, the two minors did not immediately inform their families about what had happened. The case came to light after the girl’s mother noticed that her daughter was showing signs of severe mental distress.

When the mother spoke to her, the girl allegedly disclosed the assault. The family subsequently approached the police, prompting an investigation.

Police said the girl’s parents have alleged that six youths followed the two minors to the abandoned building and that the girl was sexually assaulted after the pair were threatened.

Three Arrested, Fourth Accused Missing

Police have arrested Kunal, Yash and Deepak in connection with the case. The three were produced before a court and have been remanded to police custody for four days.

Another accused, identified as Prince, has not yet been arrested. Police teams are conducting searches to locate him.

Investigators will question the arrested men during their remand as part of the ongoing probe.

Police Probe Other Allegations

Investigators are also looking into allegations that the two minors were confined at the location. Police are further examining a claim that one of the accused allegedly made the victims transfer Rs 10,000 to his bank account.

ACP Sarai Sandeep Mor said police received the complaint on September 28 and registered an FIR on September 29. Police have since been investigating the circumstances of the alleged assault and questioning those linked to the case.
