1 / 9 Yash, whose real name is Naveen Kumar Gowda, was born on January 8, 1986, in Bhuvanahalli, Karnataka. He spent much of his childhood in Mysuru, where his interest in performing arts began to grow. Coming from a modest family without a film-industry background, Yash had to build his career from scratch. His father worked in the transport sector, while his mother was a homemaker.

During his school years, he actively participated in dance and theatre performances, which gradually strengthened his interest in acting.
