RayZR continued to be Yamaha’s bestselling two-wheeler in India, with 22,782 units sold in June. Sales increased by 59.60% YoY from 14,274 units, while MoM growth stood at 6.44% from 21,403 units. RayZR alone accounted for 34.22% of Yamaha’s domestic sales during the month.

R15 recorded one of the strongest YoY performances. Sales more than doubled from 4,380 units in June 2025 to 9,261 units last month, registering 111.44% growth. However, sales were down 5.53% compared to May.

Fascino sales stood at 8,790 units, up 43.51% YoY and 4.49% MoM. New XSR contributed another 4,199 units, although sales declined 36.25% from 6,587 units in May. Aerox sales stood at 1,455 units, down 16.52% YoY and 30.42% MoM. Yamaha EC06 electric scooter recorded 168 units during June, twice the 84 units sold in May. RayZR was also Yamaha’s highest-volume product during Q2 2026, contributing 61,483 units. This was an increase of 48.22% over 41,480 units sold during Q2 2025. It commanded a 29.65% share of Yamaha’s quarterly domestic volumes. FZ ranked second with 40,415 units, registering a relatively modest 8.56% YoY growth.

R15 was third with 28,130 units, compared to 15,285 units last year. This translates to an impressive 84.04% YoY improvement. Fascino also delivered strong growth, with sales increasing 62.03% from 17,054 units to 27,632 units. MT15 contributed 26,414 units, representing growth of 24.70% over 21,182 units sold during Q2 2025.

New XSR has quickly emerged as a significant volume contributor for Yamaha. It registered sales of 17,700 units during Q2 2026, accounting for 8.53% of the company’s domestic volumes. Since XSR wasn’t available during the corresponding quarter last year, there is no YoY comparison. Aerox sales increased 5.35% to 5,254 units, while EC06 contributed 354 units. R3 and MT03 recorded no sales during Q2 2026, compared to a combined 113 units in Q2 2025.

Scooters And Premium Motorcycles Drive Growth

Yamaha’s 51% quarterly growth was supported by multiple products rather than a single model. RayZR and Fascino recorded substantial gains, while R15 almost doubled its quarterly volumes. MT15 also maintained positive growth.

New XSR has added meaningful incremental volumes, contributing 17,700 units during the quarter. At the same time, FZ remains an important volume generator despite growing at a slower rate than the rest of Yamaha’s portfolio.

June’s 8.58% MoM decline indicates some moderation after the stronger volumes recorded in May. However, on a YoY and quarterly basis, Yamaha’s domestic performance remains significantly ahead of the corresponding period in 2025.
