The Yamaha R2 has been launched in India, with five colours to choose from. The colour schemes are divided among the three variants, and each brings a distinct look to the motorcycle. Here’s a closer look at the R2’s shades:
Metallic Black and Dark Bluish Grey
Metallic Black and Dark Bluish Grey are offered with the base variant of the R2, priced at Rs. 2,30,500 (ex-showroom). Both are understated shades that look quite subtle and elegant.
The Metallic Black features a simple black finish overall, with grey graphics. The gold finished inverted fork gives it a nice contrast, adding a premium touch overall.
The Dark Bluish Grey on the other hand, has a slightly lighter dark blue finish with red and grey graphics. This colour scheme also features red painted rim stripes. There’s also a large red stripe running through the middle of the tank.
Matte White Pearl and Racing Blue
These two shades are available with the mid-spec quickshifter variant, which is priced at Rs. 2,39,500 (ex-showroom). The Matte White Pearl is an all white colour scheme with maroon and grey graphics. There are also maroon painted rim stripes as well.
The Racing Blue, features the iconic blue shade that we have come to associate with Yamaha.
Out of the colours mentioned so far, this one is easily the most recognizable and is quite similar to the Icon Blue offered on the Yamaha R15 V4. This colour scheme on the R2 also features blue finished rims as well.
Metallic Gray
This colour scheme is exclusive to the top-spec R2 M variant, priced at Rs. 2,53,000 (ex-showroom). This colour scheme features a black finish on the fairing with dark blue and grey graphics.
