The new Vivo T5 5G is positioned as a slightly more affordable alternative to the Vivo V70 FE 5G. The new model features a rather unconventional design – the display is rounded on the left and right sides, while the pill-shaped camera module is oriented horizontally. The approximately 8-millimeter-thick body is IP69-certified and therefore waterproof.
Vivo has equipped the phone with a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera based on a Sony IMX882 sensor in a 1/1.95-inch format. It also features an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32 MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Both the front camera and the main camera can record 4K video. This mid-range smartphone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits across the entire screen area.
