Several smartphones, tablets and other consumer electronics products have become more expensive in India from September 1. Brands including Vivo, iQOO, Xiaomi, Oppo and Poco have revised prices on select models, with some variants seeing hikes of up to Rs 10,000. Sources told India Today Tech that the price revisions are effective from September 1 and retailers and distributors have been informed about the new pricing.

Vivo T5x, iQOO Z11x get up to Rs 4,000 costlier
The Vivo T5x has received a price increase across all three variants. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model now selling for Rs 27,999, compared with Rs 24,999 earlier. The 8GB + 128GB variant has gone up from Rs 27,999 to Rs 30,999. The biggest increase applies to the 8GB + 256GB version, which is now priced at Rs 34,999, up from Rs 30,999.
The iQOO Z11x has also seen similar pricing, with the 6GB + 128GB version moving from Rs 24,999 to Rs 27,999. The 8GB + 128GB model is now Rs 30,999 instead of Rs 27,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant has increased to Rs 34,999 from Rs 30,999.
Oppo has made a steeper adjustment to its premium phones. The Find X9s has received a Rs 5,000 price increase, while the Find X9 Ultra is now Rs 10,000 more expensive.
Xiaomi Pad 8 prices rise by Rs 3,000, Redmi devices too on the list
Xiaomi has revised prices across several tablet models from September 1. The Xiaomi Pad 8 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage now starts at Rs 46,999, up from Rs 43,999. The same Rs 3,000 increase applies to both the Graphite Grey and Titanium Blue versions.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Nano Texture Display Edition has increased from Rs 45,999 to Rs 48,999. Meanwhile, the Pad 8 with Pen now costs Rs 51,999, compared with Rs 48,999 earlier. The Nano Texture Display edition bundled with the Pen has risen from Rs 50,999 to Rs 53,999.
Xiaomi has also increased prices for the Redmi Pad 2 range by Rs 1,000 across the listed variants. Prices now start at Rs 19,999 for the 4GB + 128GB Wi-Fi model, while the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G 8GB + 256GB variants now cost Rs 34,999.
The Redmi 15A 5G has also become Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 more expensive, depending on the configuration. Its new prices range from Rs 16,499 to Rs 20,499.
Poco has similarly raised the price of the Poco C85x 5G by Rs 500. The 4GB + 64GB variant now costs Rs 14,999, while the 4GB + 128GB version is priced at Rs 15,999.
The price changes took effect from 12:01AM on September 1, 2026, meaning buyers purchasing these products going forward will pay the revised prices.
