Television actor Rupali Ganguly expressed her pride after her brother, choreographer Vijay Ganguly, received the National Film Award for Best Choreography for the song ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from the film ‘Stree 2’.
Sharing a video of the award announcement on Instagram, the ‘Anupamaa’ star celebrated the achievement.
“From being a National award-winning director’s daughter to being a National award-winning choreographer’s sister… I am the proudest,” Rupali wrote.
Regarding Vijay’s work on ‘Aaj Ki Raat’, she remarked that the National Award was “well deserved.” Rupali also noted that their mother had “manifested” his win and had predicted that he would receive the honour for the song.

In another part of her message, Rupali highlighted Vijay’s humble nature and said he truly deserved the recognition. She recalled the values taught by their father and thanked her brother for making the family proud.

Vijay Ganguly earned the National Film Award for Best Choreography for ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from ‘Stree 2’. Over the course of his career, he has choreographed several popular Bollywood songs in films including ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’, and ‘Govinda Naam Mera’.
