The final draft of a possible deal between the United States and Iran is expected to be announced within hours, according to Al Arabiya.
Sources said the deal would include an immediate, comprehensive, unconditional ceasefire on all fronts and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
They said the agreement would come into effect with announcements by both the sides.
Al Arabiya also reported that Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, who has been leading the US-Iran mediation, has departed for Tehran.

The outlet had previously reported that he would only visit Tehran upon the finalisation of terms during talks between Pakistan Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi and Iranian officials today.
Earlier in the day, Naqvi arrived in Tehran to hold talks with Iranian officials — his second visit to Iran this week.
Sources have said that the deal has following points:
Mutually committing not to target military, civilian, or economic infrastructure
Ending all military operations and halt media war
Committing to respect sovereignty, territorial integrity, and non-interference in internal affairs
Guaranteeing freedom of navigation in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman
Forming a joint mechanism to monitor implementation and resolve disputes
Starting negotiations on outstanding issues within seven days
The United States gradually lifting sanctions in exchange for Iran committing to the terms of the agreement
Pakistan has been engaged in shuttle diplomacy to bridge the gap between the two sides and bring them to an agreement. It was the driving force for the ceasefire reached last month.
The development has come after signs of progress in Pakistan-mediated talks. Previously, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Thursday that there had been “some good signs” in negotiations. Separately, a senior Iranian source told Reuters that the latest American proposal had narrowed certain gaps.
In his previous visit to Iran this week, Naqvi shared the latest American proposal with Iran.
As Naqvi began talks upon his arrival today, Iranian state media reported that Pakistan’s efforts were aimed at facilitating communication in an effort to secure a framework to end the war.
