Bollywood actor Urmila Matondkar’s former spouse, Mohsin Akhtar Mir, has officially tied the knot for the second time.

Model and businessman Mohsin Akhtar grabbed the spotlight after his separation from Urmila Matondkar. His intimate traditional Nikah ceremony with Nidhaa Bhatt was attended by close family and friends.
Alongside the gorgeous photographs, Mohsin penned a deeply emotional caption reflecting on his personal journey, gratitude, and finding happiness once again. He wrote, “Pure intentions, honest love, and a heart full of sabr and shukur. Keep your soul pure, heal along the way, and trust that Allah’s script is always better. In His perfect time, my gorgeous wifey @nidhab_ ,he rewarded me with your sincerity and blessed me .You brought light in my life. So thank you my love.”
Mohsin also shared a moving tribute to his late mother. “And thank you, Mouji, for looking after me from the other side of the world. I know it’s your blessing and your love for me that came like this. Today I know you will be more at peace.I miss you more than I could ever imagine, and I love you. Keep us in your prayers,” he concluded.

The newly married couple opted for an elegant palette. Mohsin looked dapper in a cream-white traditional sherwani adorned with delicate floral embroidery.
His bride, Nidhaa Bhatt, complemented him beautifully in an off-white traditional sharara set featuring intricate golden zari and sequin embellishments. Keeping her look soft and traditional, she paired the regal ensemble with heavy ethnic jewelry and a sheer veil. One of the most endearing photos from the carousel shows Mohsin down on one knee, slipping a ring onto Nidhaa’s finger as she beams with joy.
Mohsin was previously married to iconic Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar. The duo had tied the knot in a deeply private ceremony on February 4, 2016. However, after eight years of companionship, Urmila filed for divorce in September 2024.
