David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen will be the first-timers in Season 5 of the ILT20, which runs from November 22 to December 20 in UAE.
Finn Allen (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders) is another first timer for the UAE league.
More South Africans are expected to sign up for the league by enrolling in the auction which will be held on October 1 in Dubai.

With a clash between the ILT20 and SA20 windows averted for the coming season, a couple of top South African players have signed up for the UAE league. The two leagues, traditionally, have overlapped with each other since the launch of the leagues in 2023.
David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen will be the first-timers in Season 5 of the ILT20, which runs from November 22 to December 20 in UAE. The SA20, meanwhile, is scheduled from January 17 to February 21.
Finn Allen (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders) is another first timer for the UAE league. The New Zealander has joined Miller and Klaasen (Gulf Giants) for the Season 5 of ILT20 which announced the pre-season signings on Tuesday (August 11). Apart from the trio, Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis (Dubai Capitals) makes a return to the tournament after a three-year gap.
More South Africans are expected to sign up for the league by enrolling in the auction which will be held on October 1 in Dubai. “They will add immense value to the International League T20,” the organisers said in a statement.
Jason Holder, Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders), Shimron Hetmyer (Desert Vipers), Rovman Powell and Mustafizur Rahman (Dubai Capitals), Nicholas Pooran, Rashid Khan, Romario Shepherd (MI Emirates) and Sikandar Raza (Sharjah Warriorz) return to their Season 4 franchises. Vipers – the defending champions – have retained Andries Gous and Dan Lawrence while all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai and fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani return to the Giants camp.
