Hero HF Deluxe dropped to ninth with 55,978 units, down 21.68% from 71,477 units sold last year.
Domestic Two-Wheeler Sales Cross 19 Lakh UnitsMotorcycles continued to dominate domestic volumes with 10,74,796 units, up 20.75% YoY, accounting for 55.88% of total domestic two-wheeler sales.
Hero Splendor retained its position as India’s highest-selling two-wheeler in July 2026, while Honda Activa continued to witness a decline. TVS iQube emerged as the fastest-growing model among the top 10, posting triple-digit growth.
India’s two-wheeler market recorded strong growth in July 2026, with combined domestic sales of motorcycles, scooters and mopeds reaching 19,23,483 units, up 22.58% from 15,69,120 units sold in July 2025. Including exports, total two-wheeler volumes stood at 24,77,741 units, registering 23.70% year-on-year growth.
Top 10 Two Wheelers July 2026
Hero Splendor remained the country’s best-selling two-wheeler with 3,35,346 units sold in July 2026. Compared to 2,46,715 units sold a year ago, Splendor gained 88,631 units, registering 35.92% YoY growth. It alone accounted for 26.7% of sales among the top ten two-wheelers.
Honda Activa retained second position with 2,06,170 units. However, the popular scooter continued to face pressure, recording a 13.16% decline from 2,37,413 units sold in July 2025. Despite the drop, Activa remained India’s highest-selling scooter. Honda Shine secured third place with 1,91,950 units, up 20.23% over 1,59,658 units sold in the corresponding month last year. TVS Jupiter followed with 1,48,595 units, registering 18.99% growth from 1,24,876 units.
Suzuki Access completed the top five with 82,505 units, improving 21.02% over last year’s 68,172 units. Bajaj Pulsar slipped to sixth position with 66,156 units, witnessing a 17.12% decline compared to 79,817 units sold in July 2025. TVS Apache recorded one of the strongest performances in the list. Sales rose to 59,404 units, an increase of 58.13%over 37,566 units sold a year ago.

Close behind was TVS iQube, which emerged as the fastest-growing two-wheeler among the top ten. Sales jumped 157.87% to 59,386 units, compared to 23,029 units in July 2025. The continued growth reflects increasing acceptance of electric scooters in the Indian market. Hero HF Deluxe dropped to ninth with 55,978 units, down 21.68% from 71,477 units sold last year. TVS XL100 rounded off the top ten with 50,497 units, posting 48.56% year-on-year growth over 33,991 units sold in July 2025.
Domestic Two-Wheeler Sales Cross 19 Lakh Units
Motorcycles continued to dominate domestic volumes with 10,74,796 units, up 20.75% YoY, accounting for 55.88% of total domestic two-wheeler sales. Scooters recorded 7,98,190 units, growing 23.75%, while mopeds registered the highest percentage growth among domestic categories at 48.56%, reaching 50,497 units.
Exports Also Register Strong Growth
Two-wheeler exports remained healthy during July 2026. Total exports increased 27.75% to 5,54,258 units, compared to 4,33,873 units in July 2025. Motorcycles dominated exports with 4,80,013 units, up 29.82%, while scooter exports rose 23.83% to 73,165 units. Moped exports, however, declined sharply by 78.57% to 1,080 units. Combining domestic sales and exports, India’s two-wheeler industry recorded 24,77,741 units in July 2026, representing a 23.70% increase over 20,02,993 units sold in July 2025.
