In the earlier post, we discussed the top 10 two wheelers last month. Now, let us take a look at the top 10 scooters. India’s top 10 scooters posted another strong month in June 2026, with domestic sales rising 39.00% YoY to 6,45,764 units, up from 4,64,578 units sold in June 2025. Honda Activa retained its undisputed leadership, while TVS Jupiter continued to strengthen its position in second place. Electric scooters also made a strong impact, with TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak climbing into the overall top five scooter rankings.
Top 10 Scooter Sales June 2026
Honda Activa remained India’s highest-selling scooter with 2,18,932 units, registering 19.46% YoY growth and accounting for 33.90% of total scooter sales. TVS Jupiter retained second place with 1,36,805 units, up 26.69% over last year.
Suzuki Access ranked third with 63,121 units, growing 22.43% YoY. TVS iQube emerged as the highest-selling electric scooter in the overall rankings, securing fourth place with 47,331 units, an impressive 232.29% increase over June 2025. Bajaj Chetak completed the top five with 40,376 units, recording 126.02% growth. TVS Ntorq followed with 37,762 units, up 65.46%, while Honda Dio registered 31,459 units, growing 29.58%.
Ather Rizta continued its impressive run, selling 24,742 units to rank eighth, almost doubling its volumes with 96.94% YoY growth. Yamaha RayZR posted 22,782 units, up 59.60%, while Suzuki Burgman rounded off the top ten with 22,454 units, registering 42.72% growth.
Top 5 Electric Scooter Sales June 2026
The electric scooter segment continued its rapid expansion in June 2026. Combined sales of the top five electric scooters increased 70.07% YoY to 1,26,715 units, compared to 74,509 units sold in June 2025.
TVS iQube retained leadership with 42,192 units, up 52.64% YoY, capturing 33.30% of the top five electric scooter market. Bajaj Chetak remained close behind with 38,376 units, growing 50.26% and holding a 30.29% share. Ather Rizta secured third position with 20,800 units, registering 80.34% growth over the same month last year. Hero Vida followed closely with 20,130 units, recording a strong 140.76% increase.
River Indie completed the top five with 5,217 units. Although its volumes were relatively modest, it recorded the highest growth among the leading electric scooters at 264.32% YoY, highlighting the increasing acceptance of newer EV brands in the Indian market.
The June 2026 numbers underline the continuing strength of the scooter market, with conventional models like Activa and Jupiter maintaining their dominance while electric scooters rapidly gain ground. TVS, in particular, had a standout month, with Jupiter leading the ICE scooter space and iQube continuing to dominate the electric scooter segment.
