He starts with a four-point throw against Vendel VITAI (HUN) before getting the par terre and performing a correct throw to lead 7-0.
13:52: U20 European champion Emin JAVADLI (AZE) sees off former U17 world champion Ilia KANDALIN (RUS), 4-2, in their 55kg bout.
Kovshun led 4-2 before Zhytovoz got the par terre in the second period and then turned the Ukrainian to lead 5-4.
Vitai got the first par terre and the criteria that he defend when Mohammadi got par terre int he second period.

14:26: Yehor YAKUSHENKO (UKR) with another dominant win to enter the semifinals at 97kg. He starts with a four-point throw against Vendel VITAI (HUN) before getting the par terre and performing a correct throw to lead 7-0. He gets a stepout in the second period to win 8-0
14:25: Salih YAZICI (TUR), the U20 European champion at 72kg, moves into the semifinals after a 9-2 win over Marlan BAKAYEV (KAZ). Yazici will face Jorge GOMEZ (MEX) after the Mexico wrestler defeated Djordje HIRCL (SRB), 3-1.
14:15: Ilia KOMAROV (RUS), the returning bronze medalist at 97kg, takes less than a minute to beat Ryosei KATAMATSU (JPN) 8-0. Takedown and then rolls the Japanese wrestler three times.
14:14: Armin SHAMSIPOUR (IRI) gets the par terre and then goes big with four points and then a five-point throw to beat Maxim SARMANOV (MDA) 10-0 at 55kg and advance to the semifinals
14:10: Koba KARUMIDZE (GEO) with two beautiful suplex on Hiro SAKAMOTO (JPN) to win 9-0 and enter the semifinals at 55kg. Picture-perfect from Karumidze
14:05: Kazybek KALMAGAMBETOV (KAZ) takes out U23 world champion Mohamed ABDELREHIM (EGY) in the 67kg quarterfinals. Kalmagambetov with a turn in par terre and then defends his 3-1 lead to win. One more point to the Kazakhstan wrestler after Abdelrehim lost a challenge which made the score 4-1
13:56: Yehor YAKUSHENKO (UKR) with a massive fall over Emir BOZBAG (TUR) in the pre-quarterfinals at 97kg. The defending champion was caught off guard when Bozbag scored a four-pointer. However, Yakushenko with bodylock throw and then holds Bozbag to claim the fall and enter the quarterfinals.

13:40: A 59-second win for Yurik MKHITARYAN (ARM) to reach the 67kg semifinals. He rolls over Iosif ZLOTAR (ROU) for a 10-0 technical superiority.
13:35: Petro ZHYTOVOZ (HUN), the U20 European champion, manages a comeback win over Denys KOVSHUN (UKR) at 67kg. Kovshun led 4-2 before Zhytovoz got the par terre in the second period and then turned the Ukrainian to lead 5-4. He got another point for lost challenge from Ukraine to win 6-4
12:53: Former U17 world champion and U20 Asian champion Armin SHAMSHIPOUR (IRI) rocks Denys KIRYK (UKR) with a 10-0 win at 55kg.
12:45: Salih YAZICI (TUR)l, the U20 European champion, hangs on for a 2-1 win over Mohamed IBRAHIM (EGY) at 72kg. Ibrahim lost a challenge early in the bout which gave Yazici point. The two traded par terre positions which meant that Yazici kept his one point lead for the win.
12:30: U20 European champion at 67kg Petro ZHYTOVOZ (HUN) enters the quarterfinals with a 9-3 win over Erekle TAVBERIDZE (GEO). Zhytovoz collected three turns from par terre to lead 7-0 before giving up only a turn in the second period to Tavberidze
12:10: Tempers flare in the 67kg bouts between Yurik MKHITARYAN (ARM) and Murad ALIYEV (AZE). Aliyev was leading 6-4 before Mkhitaryan managed to go behind and as he was trying to control, Aliyev pulled his singlet. Mkhitaryan still goes and completes a throw for four points. Aliyev manages to come on top and get the fall but that is cancelled as he committed a foul. Aliyev challenges but loses it as there was a clear foul. Mkhitaryan survives the final 40 seconds and a few aggressive open hands from Aliyev to win 13-4
11:55: Two-time defending champion Yehor YAKUSHENKO (UKR) opens his title defense with a 5-1 win over Arman MKRTCHYAN (GEO) at 97kg. Yakushenko opened with a big throw for four points before giving up a reversal. In the second period, he got the par terre but did not score any points.
11:45: Former U17 world champion Amirsam MOHAMMADI (IRI) suffers a shock 1-1 criteria loss to Vendel VITAI (HUN) at 97kg. Vitai got the first par terre and the criteria that he defend when Mohammadi got par terre int he second period.
11:00: Emin JAVADLI (AZE) takes only 57 seconds to beat Nolan PISSOCHER (FRA), 11-0, at 55kg. Javadli will be among the favorites to win the gold medal in the weight class
10:50: U20 European champion Salih YAZICI (TUR) gets a dominant win to begin his campaign at 72kg. He beats VINIT (IND), 9-0, after getting the first par terre.
10:30: Returning silver medalist from 60kg Yurik MKHITARYAN (ARM), who is now up at 67kg, beats Maxim DAMASCHIN (MDA), 3-1, after a turn from par terre.
10:20: Tamaterai HERVE (PYF) is the first wrestler from French Polynesia to wrestle at any World Championships as he steps on the mat to compete at 67kg. His debut, however, met with a 8-0 loss against Mohamed ABDELREHIM (EGY)
