The film registered a 22.2% decline from Tuesday's net collection of Rs 8.35 crore.'The Odyssey' began its theatrical run with a Rs 17.40 crore net opening on Friday before witnessing substantial weekend growth. By the end of its debut weekend, the film had amassed an estimated Rs 61.30 crore net, driven by strong occupancy in premium IMAX formats and positive word of mouth.Although collections dipped during the weekdays to around Rs 8 crore, the epic managed to maintain a steady hold at the box office before Wednesday's larger decline.Taking into account the film's earnings on Wednesday, the movie now boasts of a total India net collection of an estimated Rs 84.15 crore, while its India gross collection has reached approximately Rs 100.38 crore.The latest figures make 'The Odyssey' only the 21st Hollywood release to cross the Rs 100 crore gross mark in India. This major achievement marks both Christopher Nolan and Matt Damon's second film to hit the milestone in the country. The two previously worked on the blockbuster, 'Oppenheimer' (2023), which remains among the top 10 highest-grossing Hollywood releases in India with a lifetime collection of Rs 128.46 crore.The film's original English-language version has remained the biggest contributor to its overall earnings in India. Of the estimated Rs 84.15 crore net collected so far, the English version has accounted for approximately Rs 66.55 crore, underlining the strong demand for Nolan's films in their original language.Meanwhile, the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions have collectively contributed under Rs 20 crore, adding to the film's overall nationwide tally.'The Odyssey' launched with an estimated USD 124.5 million in North America and another USD 139.6 million from overseas, notching an even better debut than 'Oppenheimer' and marking the filmmaker’s best opening since 2012’s 'The Dark Knight Rises.'
