Ahead of the release of his film Mollywood Times , Naslen appeared in an interview with Asianet News. During the interaction, the Premalu actor confirmed that the movie is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.
The actor said, “Suriya47 shooting is currently underway and will continue until the end of June. We are enjoying the filmmaking process. Suriya sir complimented my Tamil, saying it was good. He is a very good human being and very humble. In many moments, I was awestruck thinking, ‘Am I really with Suriya sir?’ I’ve been watching him since childhood; he’s my favourite artist.”
Reports indicate that the film might feature a vintage Mohanlal song during a fight sequence. When asked about it, Naslen avoided giving a direct answer and said, “There are also portions being shot without me, so there might be other surprises in the film. I don’t know if there’s a Mohanlal song in a fight scene.”

Naslen is also set to star in Mollywood Times, directed by Abhinav Sundar Nayak. The upcoming coming-of-age comedy drama follows a young man who dreams of becoming the best horror filmmaker in Malayalam cinema, inspired by M. Night Shyamalan. The rest of the story focuses on the challenges he faces and the lengths he goes to in pursuit of his dream.
With Sharaf U Dheen appearing as the co-lead, the film is set to hit the big screens on June 5, 2026.
