In the broader markets, Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap ended 0.37 per cent and 1.2 per cent higher, respectively.
Sector-wise, Nifty Realty outperformed with over 2 per cent rise.
Nifty Media, Nifty Private Bank, Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Bank also outperformed.
