Sohail Khan’s noticeably slimmer appearance recently became the subject of intense social media chatter, with fans wondering if the actor’s weight loss had anything to do with his health. Some even speculated that he had turned to Ozempic or other weight-loss aids.

The 55-year-old has now addressed those theories and explained what actually happened while he was participating in The Alliance.

Sohail Khan Reveals What Led To His Weight Loss

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sohail said his physical transformation was partly connected to his experience after entering The Alliance as a wildcard contestant. Since it was his first reality show, adjusting to the environment initially proved difficult.

Sohail admitted that he felt “a bit claustrophobic" during his first few days inside. Things became more challenging when he developed a stomach infection within the first week itself.

“A stomach bug added to that in the first week itself of entering the house," Sohail said.

Despite falling ill so early in his stint, the actor remained on the show for five weeks. He credited the other contestants and the care he received from them for encouraging him to continue.

“I must tell you, the love and concern, not only about my health, but at any given time by contestants, made me stay in for five weeks, though I was unwell in the first itself," he added.

Sohail Khan Denies Using Ozempic

His illness also forced Sohail to become more careful about his diet. The actor explained that he wanted to continue participating in the challenges rather than allowing his health to interfere with his stint on the reality show.

That meant controlling what he ate while trying to remain active enough to compete.

Sohail also spoke fondly about the friendships he developed during the show. He said he wanted to remain with the “new family and friends" he had found there until the final day and hoped those relationships would now continue for life.

Addressing the speculation around weight-loss medication directly, Sohail made it clear that Ozempic had played no part in his transformation.

“So no Ozempic, no fat burners, I’m only taking pure and loads of love and affection from everyone," he said.

Salman Khan Had Earlier Revealed Sohail Lost 12 Kg

Sohail’s weight had also come up during The Alliance when his brother Salman Khan entered the show to support him.

During his appearance, Salman revealed that Sohail had previously lost 12 kg.

The conversation around Sohail’s health intensified more recently after photographs and videos from The Alliance party appeared online. His leaner frame caught viewers by surprise, leading to concerned comments as well as memes and theories about how he had lost the weight.
