E-commerce shipping and logistics platform Shiprocket made a strong debut on the stock exchanges on Wednesday, August 19, with its shares listing at Rs 131 on the NSE, a 35% premium over its issue price of Rs 97.
The company’s shares were listed at Rs 131 on the NSE and Rs 130 on the BSE, giving investors a solid listing gain on the first day of trading.

The IPO was subscribed 99 times by the end of the bidding period. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the demand, subscribing to their reserved portion 123 times. The non-institutional investor (NII) quota was subscribed 89 times, while the retail portion saw 46 times subscription. The employee portion was subscribed 55 times.
The strong debut comes as Indian startups continue to test investor appetite in the public markets. Shiprocket joins a growing list of new-age companies tapping the IPO route to raise capital and provide an exit opportunity to existing investors.
The Gurugram-based company provides shipping, logistics and ecommerce enablement services to online sellers and businesses. It is backed by investors including Temasek and Eternal.
