Taking the fight to Maruti and Kia?

The Neira represents Hyundai wanting to get into the fight with the Maruti XL6 and the Ertiga, both of which are very popular models in the Indian car market and also have a strong following in the fleet segment. Of course, the Neira will also go up against the Carens, Clavis and Carens but is expected to be priced at a premium as is the case with product-sharing rules among automakers. It is expected to be one of the vehicles that will be showcased by Hyundai at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo at the start of next year, with a market launch slated for the first half of CY2027.
