Vidnyan claimed to be acquainted with Muchhal through India cricketer Smriti Mandhana and her father.
In his complaint, Vidnyan alleged that he repeatedly demanded repayment, including around the time of a proposed marriage between Muchhal and Mandhana in November 2025.
