Speaking with Gulte, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was asked how she reacted to the fact that her husband Raj Nidimoru had praised her script selection and whether she could differentiate between a bad, good, and great script.
She said, “Actually, we can easily differentiate between a bad script and a good one. But the difference between a good and a great script can only be understood when we are on the sets. It’s all about the small nuances. In many cases, some films accidentally become great; it’s just luck. It’s very rare to know that beforehand. I remember feeling that way when I did Eega, that special feeling. Also Rangasthalam … I could feel that energy from Sukumar garu.”
Moreover, the actress opened up about how she was once addicted to stardom. She said, “I have done a bunch of films that I’m not proud of. In a short time, people started loving me, started screaming my name, and were looking forward to my movies. I was left in shock. I was addicted to the game of stardom. I was more interested in what the media was writing about me and how many films I acted in each year.”
