Taking to social media, Samantha Ruth Prabhu penned, “When I landed in Chennai today, I felt an immense sense of happiness. I’ve always felt that Vijay sir was never meant to be just a hero on screen. His energy, his presence, and the way people respond to him always made it seem like he was meant for something bigger.”

“What inspires me most is the courage it takes to step into a completely new arena. To leave behind what you have already mastered and take on a challenge where the stakes are so much higher. Not because it is easy, but because you believe you can make a difference. I think all of us, at some point in our lives, are called to do more. To look beyond ourselves and ask how we can contribute. Very few people actually answer that call,” the actress added.
Samantha concluded that she had a feeling Vijay sir would surprise even those who already believed in him, not because of the position he held, but because of the intent with which he approached it.
The actress wished him strength, wisdom, and the courage to stay the course. She also expressed her hope that, for every young person watching, it would serve as a reminder that life could be much bigger than the dream they had started with.

Thalapathy Vijay is yet to appear on the big screen with Jana Nayagan. Directed by H. Vinoth, the action drama is touted to be his final cinematic venture, with Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, and Pooja Hegde playing key roles. The film is yet to receive a theatrical release date.
On the other hand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is set to star in Maa Inti Bangaaram, directed by BV Nandini Reddy. Written and created by Raj Nidimoru, the action-comedy film is slated for release on June 19, 2026.
