Skoda Kylaq vRS – Coming Soon?
Skoda is planning to offer vRS badging with its models, we have already learnt that the Kodiaq and Slavia will be getting this badge first. Now, Skoda might also offer the same with its best-selling SUV, Kylaq.
Along with the vRS badging, expect the model to feature some sporty enhancements, like a revised grille, some sporty elements on the side, new colour combination and others. The interiors will more or less be similar to the current model. Moreover, the vRS will be based on the top-trim of the model, so it is safe to say, you won’t compromise on any features.

The main change will be under the hood, the Kylaq vRS will feature a more powerful engine. Not the 2.0-litre mill, but expect a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. The unit will be same as seen in the Kushaq but Skoda might make it a killer with change in tunings, slightly more power and more torque. The Kylaq is already a small car, and the more powerful engine will enthrall the enthusiasts.

Launch & Price
The brand has not yet revealed an exact launch timeline of the vRS model, however, a new sportline variant is planned for the Kylaq that will launch by the end of 2026. The sportline model is expected to receive sporty cosmetic enhancements. However, we expect the Kylaq vRS to launch by the early to mid 2027.
Talking about the pricing, expect the sporty Kylaq to be priced somewhere around Rs 16.50 lakh and Rs 18 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
